What is LEAD?

LEAD is an afterschool program that offers a diverse set of classes at DVISD elementary, middle and at Del Valle high school.

What is the cost for LEAD?

LEAD is free for all DVISD students!

How does my student get into the program this year?

LEAD information letters will be sent out to all students on the first day of school, August 27th. Parents must download or request applications to LEAD from the front office of the school. We will accept applications through Thursday, August 30th. Participants will be chosen from all submitted applications using a lottery-based system on Thursday, August 30th. LEAD will inform applicants of admission or waitlist status, program details, and the orientation date by August 31st. Students will also be identified from the waitlist for specific classes such as choir, soccer, or robotics. What days and times does LEAD operate?

LEAD operates Monday-Thursday 2:45-5:45 PM.  LEAD does not operate on Fridays, Early Release Days, or on Holidays.  Please refer to the LEAD calendar.
